For the Coffee Lover - DIY Creamers

I admit it, I am a coffee drinker.  I love to have my cup in the morning, maybe two if I am feeling a little droopy.

Sometimes, I stay up late writing a post.  There are times I have fallen asleep with my fingers on the keyboard! I never realized how much time blogging takes until I started mine about 4 months ago.  Wow!  Was I in for a surprise!

So, needless to say, that cup of steaming coffee is a welcomed drink in the morning!  Moderation is the key, of course.  I remember as a child, waking up and walking into the kitchen and seeing my mother busily working.  The way she greeted me, the look in her eyes, would tell me whether or not she had her coffee.  If she didn't, well, let's just say we all gave her some space!

If I could grow coffee here on the farm, I would.  But, obviously that isn't going to work.  What I can do is make my own creamer.  I'm sure you have noticed the cost of creamer in stores, ouch!  My sister gave me these recipes and I absolutely love them!

Side note:  I just found out where these recipes came from and they are copyrighted:(   So sorry! You can go to http://deliciouslyorganic.net/ and find these great recipes!

  6. OH, this is GREAT...I'm bookmarking this post. I LOVe coffee, but have to drink it in moderation. NO matter, I like to add sweetener and these homemade creamers look fabulous!!! Evaportated milk tastes great in coffee...just add a tiny bit to coffee, taste it, and add more if needed. It makes the coffee taste like a fancy coffee drink for just pennies :) :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
