Candy Cane/Chocolate Fudge
All I can say is YUM!
1 tsp plus 4 TBS butter, divided
1 cup crushed candy canes
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk, divided
4 oz white baking chocolate
1 tsp cream of tartar
Grease the bottom of an 8-in square pan with 1 tsp of butter. Sprinkle half of the candy canes in pan. Microwave the chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons of butter for 1 minute and stir(in microwaveable bowl).
Microwave an additional 15 seconds until smooth. Stir in 3/4 cup of milk. Carefully pour over the candy canes in pan. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
In another microwaveable safe bowl, combine the white baking chocolate and remaining butter and microwave on high for 40-50 seconds, stir until smooth. Stir in the cream of tartar, remaining milk and candy canes. Spread over the cooled chocolate layer and refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm. Invert the pan, remove the fudge and cut into 1 inch squares.
